From conversations to impact
The Charles Telfair Centre was established in line with CTE’s
vision of knowledge sharing and community contribution. The
concept was to create a space where ideas could be discussed,
connecting a variety of relevant stakeholders from industry,
NGOs, and public or civil society. The Centre focuses on
fostering an environment where knowledge and ideas are freely
exchanged to address pressing issues.
In 2024, the Centre concentrated on two major themes: “Digital
Disruption”
and
“Sustainable
Ocean
Management.”
These
themes shaped not only the publications but also the events and
collaborations hosted by the Centre, ensuring alignment with the
most critical challenges of our time. Through its blog, events, and
partnerships, the Centre aims to bridge gaps, spark dialogue, and
inspire action. It reminds us that knowledge is not just a resource
but a tool for creating a better, more connected world.
